Grand Cru Estate is our home in the beautiful Eden Valley in the south east corner of the Barossa.

The estate started as a farming homestead in the 1880s with cattle, sheep, chickens and even a small vineyard. It is surrounded by rolling hills with sweeping views of the local countryside.

Over the last 35 years we have extended the estate using the same local stone as the original buildings. To enter the courtyard is to step back in time.

Today, as well as being a working farm, winery and vineyard, Grand Cru Estate offers luxury accommodation, catering and function facilities.

We took over the estate in 1982 in preparation for life after the sale of the family's Seppelt winery.

The famous Grand Cru Estate tower was the brainchild of Tristan's grandfather.

He admired the French chateau style of wineries and wanted to create something unique amongst the rolling hills of the Eden Valley.

Under the shade of the tower our wood ovens which are used weekly to bake fresh break, roast meats and cook the best pizzas in the Barossa for accommodation guests.

Grand Cru Estate is surrounded by the stunning countryside of the Eden Valley..

On site we have sheep, chickens, guinea fowl, bee hives, horses and cattle. Not to mention the local deer and kangaroos. We also have extensive herb and vegetable gardens which we use when catering for our accommodation and function guests.

Our peaceful estate in the middle of nowhere and the middle of everywhere:

20 minutes from the heart of the Barossa Valley

20 minutes from the heart of the Adelaide Hills

30 minutes from the Murray River

We look forward to seeing you one day.
