Sourced from our own vineyard and a couple to the north of us, this is my style of Barossa Shiraz - rich and ripe yet restrained with delicate and integrated oak. We hand picked the grapes, carefully open fermented for 10 days and matured in a blend of oak barrels for 15 months.
Plenty of blackberry and mulberry fruit characters, some dark chocolate and mint, a soft and round finish that lingers with concentrated fruit flavours.
I enjoy this wine with barbequed red meat.

This is wonderfully fruited and gorgeously fragrant on the nose showing blackberry, blueberry compote, mixed spice, roasted nut and cocoa characters. The palate is equally satisfying with supple mouthfeel, backed by excellent fruit power and intensity, leading to a persistent silky finish. An immediately appealing shiraz filled with delectable flavours.
